2.  Welcome and general blabbing

I try  not to let the a**holes get me down but the defeat of Prop 8 really 
has me  fuming. What the in the blue blazes is so threatening about two 
people who love  each other? Write letters, talk to your friends, do whatever 
you can to see that  it doesn’t happen again. I plan to open my big mouth a 
lot. With our recent  victories (I mean, IOWA?) I have great hope. Besides, 
shutting up has never been  my forte. 
I’ve  written a couple of articles for the issue of Curve that'll be out  
in June. There’ll be more in the future. Yep, I’m not only a songwriter but  
I’m a journalist too. Watch out what you say to me and never ever break up 
with  me. 
Do you  know how to reach the Superstition Mountain RV Resort in Apache 
Junction, AZ?  I’ve played some great gigs there in the past but their contact 
info has changed  and I can’t find them in a google search. If you can give 
me a phone number or  email address for their office, you’d have my eternal 
gratitude. 
If you  live in the Raleigh-Durham area, consider guitar or mandolin

This  weekend I’m playing in Durham, on a shared bill with 
singer-songwriter Tracy  Drach. My band, Broad Street, will join us too and people, I 
promise big fun.  The next weekend I’ll be in upstate NY at Hudson Valley Pride. 
In addition to a  musical set I’ll be emceeing. Look for some fab new  
outfits.

5.  Raising funds for my new album

I’ve  raised about ten percent of what I need and while that’s wonderful, 
it’s not  enough to get started. Everything else is in place – I have a 
great studio and  producer, musicians are on board and I’ve got a lot of new 
songs. Many of you  have requested a new album and I’d love to give it to you.
